Senior Software Engineer - Backend & Web3

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Backend & Web3 to join our innovative team at Crudcook. In this fully remote position, you will not just write code; you will own outcomes. What You'll Do

• You will own entire product surfaces end-to-end, from scoping and design through deployment and iteration.
• Engage with users to define requirements, make trade-offs, and build scalable systems.
• Architect and build high-throughput backend services and design async event-driven systems.
• Develop and maintain APIs that partners and internal teams depend on.
• Contribute to on-chain infrastructure across EVM and non-EVM chains.
• Drive solutions by identifying problems rather than waiting for tickets.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping production systems.
• Deep expertise in Node.js, understanding the event loop and error handling patterns.
• Experience with async & event-driven architecture, including message queues and pub/sub systems.
• Strong system design skills, able to reason about consistency vs. availability trade-offs.
• Proficient in API design, ensuring clean and well-documented integrations.
• Solid data structure and algorithm fundamentals for production environments.
• Exposure to Web3 technologies, including smart contracts and DeFi protocols.
• Proficiency in Rust or strong working knowledge for performance-critical services.
