Senior Software Development Engineer in Test - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to join our dynamic team at CR2. This remote position offers you the opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and robustness of our digital banking solutions. As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, you will work closely with the product under test, understanding business requirements and clarifying acceptance criteria to design meaningful test coverage.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with the Scrum team to deliver stable, maintainable automated and manual testing within your product area.
• Implement, maintain, and run automated tests across Web, Mobile, and API platforms.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, providing accurate estimates and communicating progress, risks, and blockers.
• Review automation code and provide constructive feedback to improve automation coverage and execution efficiency.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and support onboarding processes.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software testing with strong automation exposure.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Selenium, Appium, TestNG, and RestAssured.
• Solid understanding of databases (SQL) and service-based architectures.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong communication skills to articulate risks and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
