Senior ServiceNow Developer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic team at Scandinavian Tobacco Group. This remote opportunity allows you to design, develop, and enhance our HR, IT, and Finance solutions on the ServiceNow platform, improving employee experience and operational efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, test, and deploy ServiceNow solutions using JavaScript/GlideScript (Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies) and Flow Designer.
• Configure and enhance HRSD (Case Management, Employee Service Center, Lifecycle Events, Knowledge, HR Catalog) and implement compliant workflows, journeys, and automated approvals.
• Build and maintain Service Portal / Employee Center components, ensuring seamless user experiences.
• Implement integrations with external systems (SuccessFactors, SAP, Jira, recruitment, payroll, document management) via REST/SOAP APIs, ensuring secure handling of sensitive HR data through ACLs, roles, and compliance controls.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation (solution designs, process docs, runbooks) and support UAT/SIT, ATF, upgrades, and continuous optimization of the HRSD environment.
• Collaborate with HR and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable digital solutions, while providing oversight across ServiceNow implementations, including HRSD, ITSM, CSM, and FSM.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of hands-on experience developing solutions on ServiceNow.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience developing in the HRSD module (experience with ITSM, FSM, CSM is a plus).
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist – HR (CIS-HR) required.
• Strong JavaScript/GlideScript skills and solid understanding of HR case management, lifecycle events, and employee service portals.
• Ability to produce clear technical and process documentation for HRSD, ITSM, and Finance implementations.
• Strong analytical mindset, proactive attitude, and effective communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus).
