Senior Security Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join Anduril Industries, a leading defense technology company. In this remote position, you will play a critical role in enhancing the security of our advanced defense technology products. As a Senior Security Engineer, you will design and implement robust security architecture to protect our global network, ensuring that our systems remain secure in an era of strategic competition.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement security controls across cloud, production, and corporate infrastructure.
• Develop tools and systems to improve security posture and operational efficiency.
• Conduct security architecture and design reviews for systems and applications.
• Build automation to detect, monitor, and remediate security issues.
• Collaborate across infrastructure, application, and operational security domains.

Requirements

• Strong programming ability in one or more general-purpose languages (Python, Go, Rust, etc.).
• Experience with one or more infrastructure as code languages (e.g., Terraform, AWS CDK) in a production capacity.
• Experience conducting security architecture or design reviews around custom business applications.
• Solid understanding of modern attack vectors and defensive mitigation strategies.
• Experience working with cloud platforms and deploying applications through CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work autonomously, take ownership of projects, and collaborate across teams.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.

Nice to Have

• Experience building bespoke solutions in high-growth and high-complexity environments.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP security ecosystem and tooling.
• Strong experience with Linux operating systems.
