Senior Design Automation Systems Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Design Automation Systems Engineer to join Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division. This remote position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $86,000 to $126,000, depending on your skills and experience. As a Senior Design Automation Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining product line engineering automation systems, providing essential front-end systems support, and interpreting automation projects using our design automation framework.

What You'll Do

• Deploy and support Design Automation modules for the assigned product line, assisting in onsite deployments and scheduling end-user training.
• Develop and maintain a roadmap of front-end development projects, ensuring automation systems are aligned with planned offerings.
• Work closely with experienced product line engineers and designers to gather information needed to deploy enhancements to the DA core modules.
• Prepare and present activity and progress reports regarding all projects, including estimated hours of support and project schedules.
• Manage content requests and address issues surrounding DA content as it is applied to module deployment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology from an accredited institution.
• Three (3) years of applicable experience with engineered-to-order (ETO) products and their associated configuration tools.
• Prior experience with object-oriented programming.
• Authorized to work in the US without Company Sponsorship now or in the future.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Nice to Have

• Extensive experience with Eaton’s ETO software tools such as Bid Manager, MI Manager, and Design Automation.
• Experience as a Customer Order Engineer or Designer within an Eaton product line.
• Experience with C# scripting.
