Senior Security Engineer - Remote Cybersecurity Role

We are seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join our team at Turnberry Solutions. As a Senior Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in empowering organizations to thrive in today's digital landscape.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with program managers on product visioning and planning.
• Ensure proper evidence collection methods are conducted and archived to maintain data integrity.
• Identify and recommend necessary changes or modifications to security protocols.
• Perform complex updates for security products and manage security incidents.
• Provide high-level support for help desk tickets related to security issues.
• Manage security relationships with stakeholders, ensuring the integrity of security services.
• Conduct weekly calls with the GRC team to update on security matters.
• Utilize tools such as Databricks, Splunk, and Power BI for security analysis and reporting.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an information security role.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in technology or security field.
• Strong understanding of network and security controls.
• Proficient in secure software development lifecycle and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
• Ability to handle complexity and high-pressure situations effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex issues clearly.
• Experience in incident response and threat detection engineering is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience in mergers and acquisitions.
• Background in Cybersecurity Engineering.
• Familiarity with SOC environments.
