Senior Sales Engineer - Remote Position at RevenueCat
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join our remote team at RevenueCat. In this Senior Sales Engineer remote position, you will play a crucial role in helping developers and app teams understand how to effectively monetize their applications. You will leverage your technical expertise and consultative mindset to guide prospects through their journey from curiosity to implementation.
What You'll Do
- Lead technical discovery calls and demos, bridging the gap between technical and business needs.
- Diagnose current setups and identify opportunities for improvement, occasionally building light proof-of-concepts to illustrate solutions.
- Manage inbound conversations from first touch through technical validation, ensuring prospects receive fast and actionable advice.
- Collaborate with developer and growth advocates to create scalable content that assists thousands of developers in self-evaluating RevenueCat.
- Act as the liaison between customers and internal teams, sharing product feedback and helping shape new features.
- Track and analyze the evaluation funnel to understand how your involvement impacts decision-making.
Requirements
- 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as sales engineering or solutions architecture.
- Fluency with mobile stacks and proficiency in Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, Java, Flutter, or React Native with TypeScript.
- Strong communication skills to connect APIs and SDKs to business impact for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Curiosity about app monetization and the ability to discuss user acquisition, conversion, and retention strategies.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple deals and projects in a remote environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience integrating apps with RevenueCat.
- Knowledge of subscription commerce and in-app purchases.
- Familiarity with tools such as Linear, Notion, Slack, Salesforce, and Looker.
