Senior Revenue Operations Manager - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Revenue Operations Manager to join our team at Automattic. This remote position plays a pivotal role in shaping our Revenue Operations function from the ground up. You will be instrumental in designing systems, processes, and data foundations that are essential for scaling our B2B merchant acquisition efforts. As a trusted operational and analytical partner, you will collaborate closely with Sales and Customer Success leadership to enable effective execution and predictable growth.

What You'll Do

  • In your first 90 days, you will build core dashboards, identify process and data gaps, and establish remediation plans.
  • Within the first 180 days, create capacity and territory models, map the full tech stack and integrations, and define the attribution model.
  • By the end of the first year, achieve predictable forecasting within ±10% and establish a scalable enablement foundation.
  • Own vendor relationships, tools, and integrations (Salesforce, Gong, ChiliPiper, etc.) while establishing data quality standards and governance practices.
  • Build durable dashboards and perform ongoing process and data gap analysis to prioritize practical improvements.
  • Operationalize the Customer Success function, creating rules of engagement between Sales and CS for complex go-to-market strategies.
  • Analyze performance trends to guide strategy, including win/loss analysis, deal cycle length, and customer segmentation.
  • Design reporting that provides executives with visibility and actionable insights from pipeline health to forecasting accuracy.

Requirements

  • 6–8+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, including at least one experience building RevOps from scratch.
  • Strong data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
  • Hands-on technical skills with Salesforce experience and comfort working with data (SQL or Python).
  • Ability to communicate data-backed insights clearly to executive stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in operationalizing customer health, churn prediction, and renewal workflows.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI tools in a RevOps context.
  • Familiarity with revenue metrics such as NRR, CAC, LTV, and ASP.
  • Experience in territory planning and quota setting.
