About the Role

We are seeking a Senior R&D Clinical Development Researcher to join our team at HIPRA, a leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology company focused on innovative solutions for animal and human health. This remote R&D Clinical Development Researcher position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research in veterinary medicine.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and coordinate clinical trials in companion animals, overseeing the entire process from design to completion.
  • Define clinical design, scientific approach, and study protocol strategies, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Draft, review, and approve study protocols, amendments, and final reports, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and animal welfare principles.
  • Monitor technical and operational aspects of studies, ensuring data quality, timeline adherence, and deviation control.
  • Act as a technical reference in clinical trials, advising internal teams and collaborating closely with researchers, project leaders, and regulatory areas.
  • Coordinate and supervise activities conducted at external centers, CROs, or veterinary clinics, maintaining strong and trustworthy relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice and ethical standards in all trials under your responsibility.
  • Participate actively in the clinical development strategy of products, providing expert vision and industry knowledge.

Requirements

  • Over 10 years of experience in clinical trials or experimental studies in companion animals.
  • Extensive experience in comprehensive trial oversight, from planning to closure and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, approach, and validate study protocols.
  • High level of spoken and written English.
  • Established network with CROs, veterinary centers, universities, or other sector partners.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
  • Proactive, analytical, organized, and results-oriented individuals.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with innovative vaccine development.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in veterinary clinical trials.
  • Previous experience in a multinational environment.
