About the Role

We're looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our team at act digital in Poland. This Senior QA Engineer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work in the banking industry, focusing on automated testing for various development teams. You will be part of a centralized Test Automation team that covers smoke, integration, regression, and performance testing activities.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze services using API documentation and design test cases in collaboration with development teams.
  • Implement test cases in a testing project based on Java, Rest Assured, and Cucumber.
  • Maintain and update scripts for running automated tests and verify test results.
  • Identify root causes for defects and report bugs effectively.
  • Work with CI/CD processes using Jenkins and Jenkins Pipelines.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer.
  • 5+ years of experience with Java and solid coding skills.
  • Proficient in REST services, REST Assured, Jenkins, Cucumber, and SQL (Oracle).
  • A curious mind with a proactive approach and a desire to share knowledge.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the banking sector.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
