About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Python Developer to join our dynamic team at TrafficStars. This Senior Python Developer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a leading advertising network that handles over 6 billion events daily. You will be part of a talented team that ensures our systems operate seamlessly, even under peak loads of over 700,000 requests per second.

What You'll Do

  • Support and develop company products, ensuring they meet high performance standards.
  • Design and implement new libraries and microservices to enhance our offerings.
  • Identify and resolve errors in our systems to maintain optimal functionality.
  • Develop integrations with various external systems to expand our capabilities.
  • Optimize services for high loads, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
  • Participate in architectural solution development and task assessment.
  • Ensure code quality through comprehensive testing and coverage.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of commercial experience in Python development, particularly in high-load environments.
  • Strong theoretical foundation in algorithms, design patterns, and asynchronous programming.
  • Experience with FastAPI and AsyncIO.
  • Proficient in SQL and familiar with unit testing practices.
  • Knowledge of Linux and command line tools.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with PostgreSQL or ClickHouse databases.
  • Familiarity with monitoring systems like Zabbix or Prometheus.
  • Experience with Docker, Nginx, and Kafka message brokers.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP principles and network services.
  • Knowledge of other scripting languages such as Golang.
