Senior Product Owner - Remote Role in Financial Services

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Owner to join our team in a remote capacity. As a Senior Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in the evolution of digital products within a highly regulated financial context. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in product management and a passion for driving value through innovative solutions.

What You'll Do

• Lead the end-to-end planning and evolution of products, from defining requirements to tracking results.
• Build, prioritize, and manage the product backlog, creating epics and user stories aligned with business needs and user requirements.
• Collaborate with UX/UI, engineering, and data teams to ensure a high-value user experience.
• Interact with cross-functional teams to map dependencies, align expectations, and ensure successful execution of initiatives.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies, supporting the team in removing impediments.
• Monitor product performance indicators, utilizing data and feedback for continuous improvement.
• Ensure alignment with credit policies, fraud prevention, and regulatory requirements in the digital environment.
• Oversee the business case for products, ensuring viability, sustainability, and results generation.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or equivalent role in digital products.
• Experience in agile environments, working with discovery, roadmaps, backlogs, MVP definitions, and feature launches.
• Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills in multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with financial contexts, payment methods, cards, or benefits.

Nice to Have

• Experience with benefits, incentives, or card products.
• Knowledge in project management and new business development.
• Experience in leading or coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with Azure and product analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
• Knowledge of CRM strategies and communication conversion.
