Senior Product Owner - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Owner - Remote to join CORMAC, a leader in health information technology. In this role, you will provide exceptional support and oversight to our Product Team, ensuring the successful execution of deliverables that align with our program initiatives. As a Senior Product Owner, you will lead cross-functional teams throughout all project lifecycle phases, focusing on delivering timely, secure, and reliable data solutions for our diverse customer base.

What You'll Do

• Lead and guide Product Teams, ensuring alignment with project goals, objectives, and timelines.
• Participate in team-level ceremonies such as Backlog Refinement, Iteration Planning, and Daily Stand-ups.
• Develop, refine, and prioritize the product backlog, including user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to plan and commit to work during Program Increment (PI) and Iteration Planning.
• Represent the team in Program Increment Planning and coordinate dependencies with other teams.
• Work closely with Product Management to align team deliverables with the roadmap and business priorities.
• Accept user stories as completed based on defined acceptance criteria and quality standards.
• Provide oversight and leadership to ensure the solution meets user and business needs through continuous feedback and validation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or technology from an accredited institution.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• 10+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role managing complex systems and workflows.
• Proven experience in leading and developing teams.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, particularly Agile/Scrum.
• Excellent client management skills with a history of conducting stakeholder meetings and delivering presentations.
• Proficient in MS project management tools and MS Office applications.
• Experience with tools like Jira and Confluence is preferred.

Nice to Have

• Master’s degree in business or technology.
• Agile or SAFe certification.
• Experience working on federal projects.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
