Senior Product Manager - IntelliJ Platform

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team at JetBrains. This remote Senior Product Manager position focuses on the IntelliJ Platform, which is the backbone of our IDEs. You will play a key role in enhancing our software development tools, making a significant impact on how developers work.

What You'll Do

• Interact extensively with users to identify their needs and challenges, providing tailored solutions.
• Conduct UX and market research to gain insights for informed decision-making.
• Identify and monitor product metrics to ensure success and drive data-driven decisions.
• Generate, prioritize, and test hypotheses to refine product offerings.
• Define and implement a product vision and strategy that aligns with JetBrains' goals.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap addressing both short- and long-term objectives.
• Enhance the product development process incrementally, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, technical writers, and marketing teams.

Requirements

• Technical education or experience in software development.
• Minimum of five years of product management experience or equivalent.
• Deep understanding of product metrics and their importance.
• Familiarity with programming languages and modern software development practices.
• Comfortable working in a highly technical domain.
• Willingness to learn and actively use JetBrains IDEs.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in English with excellent communication skills.
