Senior Product Designer - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our innovative team at WorkOS. This is a unique opportunity to work remotely and contribute to the development of modern developer tools and APIs that empower companies to become Enterprise Ready. As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the user interfaces and experiences that developers rely on daily. Join us in building a platform that powers authentication, identity, and authorization for leading AI companies like OpenAI and Vercel.

What You'll Do

• Lead greenfield initiatives end-to-end, including research, scoping, definition, prototyping, implementation, and iteration as a Senior Product Designer.
• Improve existing products across the entire platform, focusing on usability, accessibility, and performance.
• Engage directly with customers to gather feedback and transform insights into scalable, reusable design patterns.
• Contribute to our design system in Figma and code, ensuring a consistent and delightful user experience.
• Experiment with AI tools and emerging workflows to accelerate exploration and prototyping.
• Collaborate across teams to define, shape, and ship products, sharing work in progress and seeking feedback.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience designing platforms and complex products with information-dense interfaces.
• Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with front-end code.
• Demonstrated systems thinking and the ability to adapt design patterns to different contexts.
• Experience running user research and translating feedback into actionable insights.
• A curiosity for exploring new tools and workflows, with a willingness to share knowledge with the team.

Nice to Have

• Experience with developer tools, enterprise software, or technical B2B products.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development practices.
