About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Principal DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team at Northrop Grumman. What You'll Do

• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
• Automate deployments and monitor system health to ensure reliability.
• Utilize infrastructure as code to streamline operations.
• Collaborate with software engineers to implement best practices in DevOps.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope polygraph required.
• Strong experience with Linux administration and shell scripting.
• Proficiency in building and running containers, especially with Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab or Jenkins.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Ansible and messaging software like Kafka.
• Experience with programming languages such as Java and Python.
• Knowledge of system monitoring tools like Prometheus.
