Senior Pipeline Facilities Engineer - Remote Option Available

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Pipeline Facilities Engineer to join our team remotely. This role is pivotal in overseeing engineering and consulting services for pipeline facilities across the United States. You will lead the creation of pipeline design deliverables, influencing the growth and success of our Pipelines group.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the execution of engineering activities, including pipeline facilities design, PFDs, P&IDs, and associated bill of materials.
  • Design metering and regulating stations, storage field upgrades, and compressor stations.
  • Coordinate survey, geotechnical investigations, permitting, and land acquisition.
  • Perform calculations for studies and reports, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop material and equipment specifications for procurement and factory acceptance testing.
  • Prepare proposals and scope development, including conceptual designs and execution plans.
  • Lead coordination of design activities with other disciplines such as Civil/Structural, Electrical, and Instrumentation and Control.
  • Provide leadership, training, and mentoring to less experienced engineers and team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Minimum of 7 years of related experience; a master’s degree may substitute for one year of experience.
  • Professional Engineer registration is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with 49 CFR Part 192 and ASME B31.8.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt and modify standard approaches to solve complex problems.
  • Experience in pipeline facilities engineering is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) facilities.
  • Familiarity with business development and marketing initiatives.
