Production Operator - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Production Operator to join our team at Hilton Food Group. This remote opportunity allows you to engage in the production process while adhering to established production standards and current technological processes. As a Production Operator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of our products and ensuring efficient operations.

What You'll Do

• Implement the production process according to the applicable production standards and technological processes.
• Maintain changeover results within established norms.
• Ensure accurate registration of data related to product traceability and oversee critical control points.
• Monitor the proper functioning of machines and equipment, ensuring their technical condition.
• Report any signs of malfunction or improper operation of machines and equipment at your workstation.
• Ensure high quality of the produced assortment and report any discrepancies to Quality Control.
• Adjust machine and equipment parameters to achieve higher product quality.
• Perform regular preventive actions on the production line according to the established Asset Care schedule.
• Assist in training candidates for the Production Operator position.
• Actively participate in departmental meetings and maintain cleanliness at your workstation and in the social areas provided for employees.
• Report regularly to your supervisor and collaborate with the employer to implement CSR/ESG principles and support initiatives aimed at minimizing the negative impact of the plant's operations on the environment and local community.
• Ensure health and safety for yourself and others affected by your actions at work.
• Collaborate with the employer and colleagues to help meet legal requirements.
• Report specific safety concerns to your supervisor and/or the safety representative.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the employer for significant reasons.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of production processes and quality standards.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
• Experience in a production environment is a plus but not mandatory.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience as a Production Operator.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Familiarity with quality control processes.
