Senior People Relations Partner - Remote
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior People Relations Partner to join our team at Deel. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of work by providing strategic consultation and support to our HR Business Partners and managers. As a key player in our organization, you will help resolve team member conflicts, facilitate disciplinary actions, and ensure compliance with employment laws across various jurisdictions.
What You'll Do
- Provide consistent, tactical team member relations consultation to managers and team members to resolve issues and advise on conflict resolution, disciplinary action, and terminations in adherence to local, state, federal, and international laws.
- Own and manage all terminations for all worker types, ensuring a respectful offboarding process.
- Conduct HR-related investigations to resolve team member issues in accordance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Analyze data to monitor team member relations trends and assist management in addressing these trends proactively.
- Liaise with Legal, People Operations, and HR Business Partners to build compliant processes for conflict resolution and terminations.
- Create and manage standard operating procedures for investigations, ensuring fairness and compliance.
- Partner with People Success to deliver training and guidance to managers on handling team member relations matters.
- Oversee compliance reporting tools and ensure accurate documentation of team member relations issues.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in team member relations, employment law, or HR compliance roles.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent conflict resolution abilities and the capacity to remain impartial during investigations.
- Proficient in Google Suite and familiar with HRIS and compliance tools.
- Knowledge of employment law, particularly regarding conduct and terminations in various countries.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
- Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced, hyper-growth setting.
- Strong desire to work in a global, remote-first culture.
