Senior Network Architect - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Network Architect to join our team in a remote capacity from anywhere in Mexico. This role offers the opportunity to work on a multicultural project that emphasizes stability and growth in the short, medium, and long term. As a Senior Network Architect, you will be responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and troubleshooting mobile data connectivity processes to ensure a seamless user experience and efficient network operations.

What You'll Do

• Analyze and optimize mobile data connectivity processes, including APN settings and IP allocation.
• Ensure efficient network operations by troubleshooting GGSN/PGW interactions.
• Utilize scripting languages (Python) for automation of data analysis.
• Configure and troubleshoot APN parameters on various mobile OS platforms (Android, iOS).
• Use network protocol analyzers (e.g., Wireshark) to analyze packet traffic and identify issues.
• Track performance metrics (KPIs) and identify trends in connectivity issues using Excel and data analysis tools.
• Document and optimize current APN provisioning or troubleshooting workflows.
• Communicate technical issues effectively to non-technical teams and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in mobile network operations, RAN, core network support, or as a technical analyst.
• In-depth understanding of 4G and 5G network architectures.
• Proficiency in APN configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with packet analysis and data-driven decision making.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to diagnose complex connectivity problems and proactively solve network bottlenecks.

Nice to Have

• Certifications in mobile networks or process improvement (e.g., Lean/Six Sigma).
• Experience in VoLTE/VoNR and IMS.
