Senior .NET Developer - Remote Opportunity with GR8 Tech

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join our dynamic team at GR8 Tech. This remote position offers the opportunity to shape the future of our iGaming platform, which powers millions of active players worldwide. As a Senior .NET Developer, you will drive backend architecture decisions and help us maintain our reputation as the iGaming Platform for Champions.

What You'll Do

• Own backend architecture decisions and shape the long-term technical direction of the platform.
• Drive adoption of engineering best practices across the team.
• Improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability at scale.
• Translate product and business needs into scalable, production-ready solutions.
• Design, build, and ship high-quality backend services in .NET powering live trading operations.
• Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and strong engineering standards.
• Optimize for low latency, scalability, and efficient resource usage.
• Mentor engineers and support their growth.

Requirements

• Strong experience with C# / .NET in building scalable, high-load backend systems.
• Experience designing distributed systems and microservices architectures.
• Solid knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging systems (Kafka or similar).
• Strong expertise in databases (SQL + NoSQL), including performance tuning and scaling.
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Ability to make architectural decisions and take ownership end-to-end.
• Experience operating high-availability, low-latency systems.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Orleans, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with observability tools (APM, logging, tracing).
• Understanding of FinOps / cloud cost optimization.
• Previous experience mentoring or leading engineers.
