Senior .NET Developer - Remote Accounting Solutions

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join our globally distributed team and help build and evolve a robust accounting and finance product. This Senior .NET Developer remote position is ideal for someone with deep experience in financial systems, a strong backend foundation, and a genuine interest in collaborating closely with product, design, and other engineers.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET / C# for accounting and finance-focused products, including AP (Accounts Payable) and AR (Accounts Receivable) systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, QA, design) to deliver high-quality features.
• Work extensively with relational databases, including data modeling, performance tuning, and complex queries.
• Contribute to front-end implementation and styling, with a solid understanding of CSS and UI best practices.
• Ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance of financial and accounting features.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.
• Help mentor other engineers and promote best practices across the team.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience as a .NET Engineer or Software Engineer using C#.
• Strong background building AP (Accounts Payable) and AR (Accounts Receivable) products is required.
• Excellent knowledge of databases (SQL Server or similar), including schema design and query optimization.
• Solid understanding of CSS and experience working alongside front-end codebases.
• Experience working in collaborative, team-oriented development environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, especially around financial data.

Nice to Have

• Experience with financial workflows such as invoicing, payments, reconciliations, or reporting.
• Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks.
• Experience in SaaS or enterprise finance products.
• Exposure to cloud platforms.
