Senior Microsoft 365 IT Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Microsoft 365 IT Engineer to join our managed services team in a fully remote capacity. This role is ideal for those who have a passion for technology and a strong background in Microsoft cloud platforms. As a Senior Microsoft 365 IT Engineer remote, you will be responsible for managing client environments in the healthcare sector, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality support.

What You'll Do

• Administer Microsoft 365 tenants, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Manage Entra ID (Azure AD) for user provisioning, group management, and conditional access policies.
• Support Active Directory migration projects from planning to execution.
• Oversee Intune device enrollment and compliance policies.
• Maintain security posture across M365, including Microsoft Defender for Business.
• Manage Windows Server environments, including DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Provide remote support for escalated L2/L3 helpdesk tickets.
• Document resolutions and contribute to the internal knowledge base.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a managed services or IT support environment.
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration skills.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Windows Server administration.
• Familiarity with Intune device management and Microsoft security tooling.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work autonomously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Microsoft certifications (MS-102, AZ-104, SC-300 or equivalent).
• Experience with Hyper-V and RDS environments.
• Knowledge of FortiGate firewall administration.
• Healthcare sector IT experience.
