Senior Manual QA Tester - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Manual QA Tester to join our dynamic team fully remotely. This is an exciting opportunity to take full ownership of manual testing in a growing SaaS business. As the first QA hire, you will shape the QA processes from day one, ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of quality.

What You'll Do

• Own manual testing end-to-end, focusing on functional, exploratory, and regression testing.
• Test APIs across REST and GraphQL to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
• Validate data using SQL, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
• Work closely with developers to provide feedback and improve the overall quality of the product.
• Utilize your strong exploratory testing skills to identify edge cases and potential risks in the system.
• Have the authority to block releases when necessary, ensuring that only the best quality software is delivered.

Requirements

• Commercial experience in manual QA testing, preferably in a SaaS environment.
• Strong exploratory testing skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Comfortable working as the sole QA, demonstrating confidence and self-sufficiency.
• Experience with SQL and API testing is essential.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools.
• Knowledge of .Net technologies.
