Senior Java Developer - Relocation to Brussels

About the Role

We are urgently looking for a Senior Java Developer remote to join our team at All European Careers. This role is an exciting opportunity to work with European institutions in Brussels, Belgium. As a Senior Java Developer remote, you will be responsible for designing and developing components and building blocks that are critical to our projects. This position requires candidates to be willing to relocate to Brussels, and unfortunately, a work permit is not provided for non-European candidates. Candidates from EU countries are encouraged to apply. Fluency in English is a must, and travel is not required for interviews.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop components and building blocks for various applications.
• Analyze the integration of different information systems to ensure seamless functionality.
• Conduct data analysis and data modeling to support project requirements.
• Coordinate the implementation of the technical architecture within the team.
• Participate in technical working groups, progress meetings, and user meetings to discuss project status and requirements.
• Define testing needs and assist in the testing process to ensure quality deliverables.
• Provide assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation, and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5-15 years of experience in Java development, showcasing your expertise as a Senior Java Developer remote.
• Strong knowledge of Spring and Hibernate frameworks.
• Fluency in English is required for effective communication.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud technologies and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages.
