AI Project Lead - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AI Project Lead to spearhead our AI transformation initiatives at Hapag-Lloyd. This AI Project Lead remote position will allow you to drive AI adoption across our organization, creating new business value for our 17,000+ colleagues in the shipping and logistics sector.

What You'll Do

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of AI projects, from ideation and strategy development to MVP creation and enterprise rollout.
• Collaborate with business owners to redesign processes that leverage AI capabilities and identify high-impact use cases.
• Facilitate ideation workshops with teams to assess feasibility and drive implementation decisions.
• Drive rapid prototyping efforts to validate AI concepts and technical approaches.
• Coordinate regional rollout plans and ensure system readiness for AI solutions.
• Guide model implementation, testing, and performance monitoring with engineering teams.
• Track business impact and manage project backlog, progress, and risks throughout iterations.

Requirements

• A proven track record of successful AI or technology project leadership.
• Several years of experience in leadership roles, preferably with globally distributed teams.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies and their business applications.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
• Experience in shipping, logistics, or similar operational industries is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce products is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, global environments.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.

• Experience with agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of data integration and architecture.
• Familiarity with performance monitoring tools.
