Business Development Executive - Academy (Remote)
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and self-motivated Business Development Executive - Academy to support the growth of our Academy sponsorship portfolio. This Business Development Executive remote position combines elements of sales and account management, allowing you to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment.
What You'll Do
- Support the acquisition of new Academy sponsors through targeted outreach and lead generation.
- Conduct introductory calls, pitch Academy offerings, and support the full sales cycle as required.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within the sponsor portfolio.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions, pipelines, and data in CRM tools.
- Engage regularly with sponsors to understand their objectives, challenges, and growth potential.
- Coordinate with internal teams to deliver sponsor commitments and ensure smooth partner experiences.
- Contribute ideas to improve the Academy sponsorship model and course LMS experience.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor offerings to support commercial strategy.
Requirements
- 1–2 years’ experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management (or similar client-facing role).
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
- Comfortable presenting, pitching, and engaging with external stakeholders.
- Motivated by targets, results, and long-term success.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the education or training sector.
- Familiarity with CRM software.
- Knowledge of sponsorship and partnership development.
