Senior IT Project Manager - CPQ System Deployment

About the Role

We are currently seeking a Senior IT Project Manager for CPQ System Deployment to join our team remotely. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the deployment of a global Configure Price Quote (CPQ) system for a leading water technology provider. As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring alignment with business objectives and managing cross-functional teams to drive project execution.

What You'll Do

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of the CPQ system project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and meets scope requirements.
• Create detailed project plans, set milestones, and manage project team activities while tracking and mitigating risks.
• Develop the project charter, integrated project plan, resource plan, and contingency plans.
• Foster partnerships with stakeholders to define success criteria and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Facilitate operational checkpoint activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and regularly brief stakeholders on project status and initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with project methodology standards set by the company.
• Identify, track, and manage project requirements, risks, and issues, escalating as necessary.

Requirements

• PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of project management experience, particularly in large-scale IT deployments.
• Proficient in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong skills in MS Project, MS Suite, and Jira.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead virtual and remote teams effectively.
• Experience with CPQ implementations is preferred.
