Senior IT Operations Engineer - Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior IT Operations Engineer to join our dynamic team at Infinity Constellation. This remote role is crucial for the operations of our portfolio of ten companies, ranging from small startups to larger organizations. As a Senior IT Operations Engineer, you will be at the forefront of ensuring that our IT systems run smoothly, enabling CEOs and their teams to operate efficiently. Your expertise will be vital in troubleshooting, scripting, and providing operational support that goes beyond traditional help desk functions.

What You'll Do

• Serve as a primary technical resource across the portfolio, handling escalated issues that require real judgment, not just a runbook.
• Own the full laptop lifecycle across the portfolio, including procurement, provisioning, MDM enrollment, and ongoing endpoint management.
• Collaborate directly with engineering teams to proactively address problems that cross into platform or DevOps territory.
• Manage identity and access management, ensuring the right people have access to the right resources while maintaining security protocols.
• Administer and troubleshoot core SaaS platforms such as Google Workspace, JumpCloud, and Slack, ensuring seamless integration and access reliability.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in IT operations or systems support within a SaaS-forward environment.
• Hands-on experience with identity platforms like JumpCloud, Okta, or Azure AD.
• Solid understanding of SSO protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect) and SCIM provisioning.
• Comfortable supporting both macOS and Windows endpoints, with a preference for Mac environments.
• Ability to read and write basic scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Nice to Have

• Experience with CrowdStrike, Slack, Google Workspace, or Halo ITSM.
• Familiarity with M&A-related IT work, including entity setup and migrations.
• Experience supporting multiple companies or clients simultaneously.
