Senior IT Architect - Active Directory & IAM (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior IT Architect - Active Directory & IAM (Remote) to join our innovative team. This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in Germany while leading the technical architecture for Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID. You will ensure seamless integration within the Identity & Access Management landscape, focusing on security and governance.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop the Active Directory and Entra ID architecture, ensuring it meets organizational needs.
• Build and implement security and authorization frameworks to protect sensitive information.
• Integrate Active Directory and Entra ID into IAM processes, enhancing overall security.
• Automate identity processes using PowerShell and workflow tooling to improve efficiency.
• Work with security tools like Microsoft Defender for Identity and Semperis to safeguard the architecture.
• Collaborate closely with IAM, security, and infrastructure teams to align on best practices.
• Own the architecture, design, and governance of the identity management systems.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and evolving Active Directory architectures.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID with a focus on architecture.
• Deep understanding of identity and security concepts.
• Hands-on experience integrating Active Directory and Entra ID into IAM processes.
• Architecture-level knowledge with strong communication skills.
• Fluent in English and a minimum of B2 level in German.
