Senior HR Specialist - Benelux (Dutch Speaker)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior HR Specialist - Benelux (Dutch Speaker) remote to join our dynamic team at Globalization Partners. As a leader in the SaaS-based Global Employment Platform™, we enable clients to expand into over 180 countries quickly and efficiently. In this role, you will be a key business partner to our clients, advising them on complex HR matters in the Benelux region. Your expertise will help streamline the hiring, onboarding, and management processes, allowing organizations to unlock their growth potential.

What You'll Do

• Act as the primary HR contact for onboarding, lifecycle events, and terminations, ensuring a smooth and compliant employee experience.
• Manage sensitive employee relations cases, attend calls or meetings, and draft legally sound documentation.
• Build and manage relationships with payroll providers, benefits brokers, and HR legal advisors.
• Provide international HR and payroll consultation, being the first point of contact for client queries on benefits, payroll, compliance, and workforce planning.
• Stay ahead of labor laws and cultural nuances in the Benelux region to provide actionable guidance.
• Review and advise on employment contracts and risk mitigation strategies.
• Guide clients through Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and ensure timely salary changes.
• Act as the single point of contact for employees’ immigration and mobility needs in collaboration with the Global Mobility team.
• Drive automation and AI adoption to streamline HR processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
• Lead global initiatives to standardize and improve HR practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of HR experience, with a focus on the Benelux region.
• Fluency in English and Dutch is required.
• Deep expertise in Benelux labor laws and strong knowledge of employment regulations across Europe.
• Experience supporting complex employee relations.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with HRIS, Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, Tableau, and collaboration tools like Zoom and Slack.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of the Employer of Record (EoR) industry.
• Basic understanding of the French language.
