About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior HMI Designer to join our team at Intellias. This Senior HMI Designer remote position offers the opportunity to work closely with our automotive client in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and provides relocation support for candidates from Egypt. If you have a passion for HMI design and a strong background in the automotive sector, this role is perfect for you!

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders.
  • Advocate for users in the solutions you create and present.
  • Conduct user research and synthesize insights to inform design decisions.
  • Design web and mobile solutions from concept to implementation.
  • Effectively communicate complex ideas, whether on paper, digitally, or face-to-face.
  • Plan and facilitate online/offline workshops with stakeholders and the project team.
  • Design interactions with the interface and validate solutions with users.
  • Reuse, design, and maintain Design Systems and UI kits.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience in HMI design for mass-production vehicles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with generative and evaluative research methods.
  • Deep understanding of fundamental visual and interactive design principles.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your design process and results.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Experience validating design solutions according to WCAG guidelines is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Relevant IT or Design education, courses, and/or certifications.
