Senior GUI Developer - High Frequency Trading Systems

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior GUI Developer remote to join a top-tier High Frequency Trading firm based in the United Kingdom. What You'll Do

• Develop high-performance trading GUIs used directly by traders.
• Build desktop applications using Qt, essential for our trading GUI development.
• Contribute to web-based interfaces, enhancing the user experience for real-time trading environments.
• Design systems to capture and process high-volume, real-time trading data.
• Develop real-time position, risk, and alerting systems to support trading activities.
• Create internal tools that support trading, analytics, and data pipelines.

Requirements

• Strong experience in C++ and/or Python, with a focus on performance.
• Proven expertise in Qt for desktop GUI development (essential).
• Experience building desktop applications and exposure to web app development.
• Background in high-performance, low-latency, or real-time systems.
• Strong understanding of Linux and SQL databases.
• Experience in trading or finance is beneficial but not required.

• Familiarity with financial markets and trading systems.
