Senior Fraud Prevention Specialist - Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Fraud Prevention Specialist to join our team at Bitso, where you will play a crucial role in our fraud management efforts. This Senior Fraud Prevention Specialist remote position allows you to work from anywhere while making a significant impact on our business operations across key markets including Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, and the United States.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end B2B investigations and monitoring of complex fraud cases across all Bitso Business markets.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage fraud reporting obligations, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
• Prepare executive-level summaries of significant fraud events, providing clear insights and actionable recommendations.
• Monitor and analyze key fraud performance metrics, proactively identifying risks and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Recommend enhancements to fraud prevention strategies, balancing fraud mitigation with customer experience and commercial objectives.
• Drive the evolution of Bitso’s fraud infrastructure by co-creating scalable controls with cross-functional partners.

Requirements

• Professional fluency in both Spanish and English.
• 3+ years of experience in fraud prevention, risk operations, or investigations within the FinTech or payments industry.
• Proven experience managing fraud risk for corporate clients, understanding their unique transaction patterns.
• Strong data-driven mindset with the ability to translate complex fraud trends into actionable summaries.
• Excellent communication skills to act as a "Fraud Advisor" for B2B clients.
• Experience defining and optimizing scalable fraud processes and controls.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with fraud typologies and payment systems across LATAM and the U.S.
• Knowledge of the crypto industry and experience using blockchain monitoring tools.
