We are seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to join our team at Parloa. What You'll Do

• Lead deployment engineering projects, overseeing the technical execution of Parloa’s deployments in large enterprise environments.
• Design scalable and resilient solutions that meet enterprise-grade requirements for performance, reliability, and security.
• Build custom extensions, integrations, and configurations to address product gaps and meet specific enterprise needs.
• Collaborate with customer engineering organizations to deliver measurable outcomes and overcome deployment challenges.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Engage with senior technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on solutions and architectures.
• Rapidly debug and resolve issues in mission-critical environments to ensure customer success.
• Act as a feedback loop between field deployments and core engineering teams, driving product evolution.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, systems integration, DevOps, or data engineering roles with direct customer impact.
• Proven track record of leading technical deployments and integrations in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong technical expertise in backend engineering, infrastructure-as-code, Kubernetes/cloud platforms, APIs, and databases.
• Ability to operate independently in high-responsibility settings, especially during live deployments.
• A builder’s mindset with a focus on creativity and problem-solving under pressure.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience with AI/LLM-powered systems is a strong plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with embedding agent workflows and vector databases.
• Familiarity with prompt orchestration techniques.
