Senior Finance Manager - Remote Position

About the Role

What You'll Do

• Oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Collaborate closely with Finance and M&A professionals to drive financial performance.
• Prepare and audit consolidated financial statements for complex group structures.
• Utilize your expertise in HGB and IFRS to guide financial reporting.
• Lead initiatives to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on financial analysis.
• Mentor junior finance staff and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in auditing, ideally with a Big4 firm.
• Strong knowledge of HGB; IFRS knowledge is a plus.
• Proven experience in auditing consolidated financial statements.
• Excellent understanding of consolidation logics and participation structures.
• Structured and precise working style with the ability to simplify complex issues.
• Fluent in both German and English.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a PE-related environment or buy-and-build structures.
• Familiarity with LucaNet or similar consolidation tools.
• Completed or started WP exam.
