Senior Enterprise Data Architect - Manufacturing Solutions

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Enterprise Data Architect (Remote) to join our innovative team at Crown Equipment Corporation. As a leading manufacturer in the forklift and material handling industry, we are committed to leveraging data to enhance our operations and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will design and implement robust data architectures that support analytics, reporting, and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

• Design data models and structures that facilitate efficient reporting, dashboards, and analytics use cases.
• Create semantic layers and data marts optimized for business intelligence consumption.
• Architect solutions that enable self-service analytics while ensuring data governance and security.
• Implement metadata management and data cataloging solutions to enhance data discoverability.
• Develop comprehensive data architecture blueprints and technical roadmaps aligned with business strategy and analytics requirements.
• Design and implement data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) processes from multiple ERP sources.
• Ensure seamless data flow across manufacturing, supply chain, finance, sales, and customer service domains.
• Define and implement data governance frameworks including data lineage, metadata management, and data quality rules.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field with at least 8 years of related experience.
• 8+ years of experience delivering analytics solutions in the manufacturing or services industry.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise data solutions.
• Extensive experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP (SAP ECC, S/4HANA) and/or IFS.
• Proven track record architecting cloud-based data platforms, preferably on Microsoft Azure.

Nice to Have

• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Data Engineer Associate.
• Experience with additional cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
• Knowledge of SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Data Services, or SAP Data Intelligence.
