About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer - Power Electronics Design to join our innovative team. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of advanced autonomous delivery and robotic systems, contributing to groundbreaking projects.

What You'll Do

• Engineer avionics for volume production through a full design cycle, including requirements gathering, prototype development, schematic capture, layout, and validation.
• Lead trade studies, understand competing design priorities, and provide direction to ensure project success.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to enhance system, vehicle, and component-level designs.
• Conduct detailed design tasks such as schematic capture, PCB layout, system integration, and validation.
• Manage production processes, focusing on quality, failure analysis, manufacturing, and cost efficiency.
• Deploy solutions by troubleshooting field issues, developing mitigations, and rolling learnings into future designs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of design experience in electrical engineering, specifically in circuit analysis, schematic capture, PCB layout, packaging, and integration.
• Experience developing electronics for critical systems in aerospace, transportation, or medical devices.
• Proficiency in hard-switching power converters, resonant power converters, motor drives, and voltage/current management.
• Familiarity with basic embedded communications busses (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, CAN) and higher-speed communications (e.g., Ethernet, LVDS).
• Strong foundation in board-level design and an excellent grasp of electronics development processes and tools.

Nice to Have

• Experience in autonomous systems or robotics.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to avionics.
• Familiarity with simulation tools for circuit design and analysis.
