About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Director of Engineering to lead our internal technology initiatives in a fully remote environment. This role is crucial for driving AI integration into our internal workflows, enhancing productivity, and shaping our knowledge ecosystem. As a Senior Director of Engineering, you will report directly to the Chief Information Security Officer and play a pivotal role in architecting and delivering technology platforms that support scalable operations.

What You'll Do

• Lead the AI strategy to transform internal workflows and knowledge sharing.
• Manage the engineering lifecycle for internal platforms, balancing build vs. buy decisions.
• Drive innovation to improve organizational speed and reduce internal friction.
• Mentor and develop a collaborative team of managers and engineers.
• Execute a product-focused roadmap for internal technology tools.
• Define success metrics to ensure operational resilience and productivity.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Engineering to align technical solutions with business needs.

Requirements

• 12+ years in technical roles with expertise in cloud systems, cybersecurity, and LLMs/AI applications.
• Proven experience managing managers and scaling developer productivity tools.
• Strong leadership focused on psychological safety and team empowerment.
• Commitment to challenging existing IT practices and continuous improvement.
