Senior Director, IT Strategy and Delivery - Remote
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Director, IT Strategy and Delivery to join Texas Oncology in a fully remote capacity. This role requires the candidate to reside within Texas, ensuring close collaboration with leadership and teams based in the Irving/Dallas area. As a key member of the Texas Oncology IT Leadership team, you will drive the technical strategy and delivery execution that supports our digital roadmap, ensuring that our initiatives are architected correctly and implemented with rigor.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end technical delivery for the Texas Oncology digital roadmap, including solution architecture and integration design.
- Establish and enforce enterprise technical standards and delivery governance models to meet performance and security expectations.
- Drive proactive risk identification and mitigation across complex, multi-workstream initiatives.
- Partner with the Transformation Office to translate enterprise and clinical priorities into executable technical strategies.
- Oversee strategic vendors and delivery partners, ensuring architectural compliance and quality execution.
- Communicate complex technical topics clearly to executive leadership and clinical stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within multidisciplinary delivery teams.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in enterprise technology leadership with a focus on large-scale initiatives.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical teams and influence decisions in high-stakes environments.
- Experience operating in regulated environments with strong governance expectations.
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Strong background in healthcare technology and clinical systems is a plus.

- Experience modernizing legacy platforms while supporting active clinical operations.
- Familiarity with AI tools and their application in project management.
