About the Role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team remotely at Kotak Mahindra Bank. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our Digital Platform, ensuring that our applications run smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise will help us deploy product updates, identify production issues, and implement integrations that meet our customers' needs. If you have a solid background in software engineering and are familiar with AWS EKS, ISTIO/Services Mesh, Terraform, Helm Charts, KONG API Gateway, Azure DevOps, SpringBoot, Ansible, and Kafka/MongoDB, we’d love to speak with you.

What You'll Do

  • Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure.
  • Understand the needs of stakeholders and convey this to developers.
  • Automate and improve development and release processes.
  • Test and examine code written by others and analyze results.
  • Identify technical problems and develop software updates and fixes.
  • Collaborate with software developers and engineers to ensure that development follows established processes.
  • Monitor systems and setup required for optimal performance.

Requirements

  • B.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role.
  • Proficient with Git and Git workflows.
  • Good knowledge of Kubernetes EKS, Terraform, CI/CD, and AWS.
  • Strong problem-solving attitude and collaborative team spirit.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Ansible and Kafka/MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
