Senior DevOps Engineer (Atlassian) - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior DevOps Engineer (Atlassian) to join our dynamic team. This remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to exciting projects for a leading global consultancy. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving digital transformation across various sectors, including mining, AI, cloud, and software engineering.

What You'll Do

• Lead the implementation and management of DevOps practices across multiple projects.
• Utilize Atlassian tools such as Bamboo and Bitbucket to streamline development processes.
• Design and maintain Kubernetes clusters for scalable application deployment.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient software delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability and performance.
• Provide expertise in RBAC, SSO, and secrets management to secure applications.
• Write scripts in Python, Bash, and YAML to automate tasks and improve workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or platform engineering.
• Strong administration skills in Atlassian tools (Bamboo, Bitbucket).
• Proficient in Kubernetes and Docker.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and pipeline-as-code methodologies.
• Familiarity with RBAC, SSO, and secrets management.
• Excellent scripting/programming skills (Python, Bash, YAML).
• Interest in remote work opportunities in DevOps.

Nice to Have

• Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
