We're hiring a Senior Data Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Anthropic. What You'll Work On

  • Design and implement robust access control systems ensuring only authorized users can access sensitive data.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines and warehouses powering business-critical reporting.
  • Architect disaster recovery, backup, and replication systems for petabyte-scale data.
  • Scale data processing infrastructure using technologies like BigQuery, Airflow, and Spark.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to drive data-driven decisions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years building data infrastructure.
  • Deep experience with cloud data platforms such as BigQuery, Redshift, or Snowflake.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages like Python, Go, or Java.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and cloud platforms like GCP or AWS.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with security and compliance requirements (ITGC, GDPR).
  • Background in data warehousing or analytics infrastructure.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures.
