Senior Data Engineer - VC Data Intelligence Platform

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team at a leading VC Data Intelligence Platform. This Senior Data Engineer remote position focuses on building data pipelines and owning the end-to-end build of AI-powered systems. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business, contributing to architectural decisions and enhancing our data capabilities.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement robust data pipelines using Python and AWS.
• Utilize FastAPI for backend development and ClickHouse for data storage solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Contribute to the architectural design of AI systems and data workflows.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through effective monitoring and testing.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in data engineering and AI tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience in a Data Engineering role or similar.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Airflow for workflow management.
• Experience with LLMs and AI tools is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.

Nice to Have

• Experience with BigQuery or similar data warehousing solutions.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools.
