What You'll Do

• Design, build, and optimize scalable data ingestion, transformation, and processing pipelines using AWS technologies and Apache Spark-based platforms.
• Implement and maintain solutions aligned with Data Lakehouse architecture, ensuring high standards of data quality and performance.
• Utilize SQL and Python to develop robust data workflows and automation scripts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver dependable data solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines in production environments.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong experience with AWS data stack, including S3, EMR, Glue, Kafka, and Athena.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python, with a focus on writing clean and maintainable code.
• Understanding of Data Lakehouse, ETL/ELT architectures, and distributed data processing.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the payments industry and familiarity with BIAN frameworks.
• Practical experience in data modeling and industry-standard modeling techniques.
