Senior Data Architect - Intelligent Cloud Solutions

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior Data Architect to join our team remotely and support the development and implementation of large-scale Modern Data Platforms, Business Intelligence (BI), and Analytics solutions for our clients. As a Senior Data Architect, you will play a crucial role in helping organizations navigate the complexities of data architecture and modeling concepts. This position demands strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills, along with effective communication and collaboration abilities.

What You'll Do

• Architect and design Modern Data Platforms, including Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and BI solutions.
• Implement Medallion Architecture and Lakehouse architecture using Microsoft Fabric and Azure.
• Develop reusable data ingestion and processing frameworks, ensuring high-quality data management.
• Analyze and resolve issues with existing Azure Data Platforms to optimize performance.
• Produce comprehensive technical architectural documentation to support project objectives and timelines.

Requirements

• Proven experience in designing and implementing Azure Data Solutions, including Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2.
• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with data governance frameworks and tools such as Azure Purview.
• Familiarity with OLAP technology and Microsoft on-premises BI Stack (SSIS/SSRS/SSAS).
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 products and the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code implementations.
• Familiarity with distributed data processing using Spark (PySpark/Spark SQL).
