Senior Data Analyst - User Acquisition for Gaming

About the Role

Join Rovio Entertainment as a Senior Data Analyst for User Acquisition, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our user acquisition strategy for the iconic Angry Birds franchise. This Senior Data Analyst remote position offers the opportunity to work closely with our Performance Marketing team, driving data-driven decision-making and optimizing our user acquisition efforts.

What You'll Do

• Provide analytical support to the user acquisition team, ensuring data-driven decision-making and influencing our UA strategy with your critical insights.
• Collaborate closely with UA managers, marketers, and product partners to shape our acquisition and growth strategies.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and automated processes to track, evaluate, and forecast UA KPIs across all campaigns, channels, and creatives.
• Identify trends and offer actionable recommendations to optimize spend efficiency and creative performance.
• Help resolve data inconsistencies and improve tracking across our systems and platforms.

Requirements

• Excellent working knowledge in SQL, with the ability to write efficient queries, transform and clean data, and handle large datasets.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Python or R.
• Solid understanding of statistics to interpret data and drive informed decisions.
• Prior experience in user acquisition and user behavior analysis from a gaming company or an app with a significant user base.
• Strong presentation and collaboration skills to present data and provide actionable recommendations to senior partners.

• A passion for mobile marketing and an understanding of player acquisition and retention dynamics.
• Experience working with game telemetry data.
