About the Role
Join Bayer as a Senior Data Analyst - Finance & Controlling (Remote) and make a significant impact in the world of data analytics and management. In this role, you will be a vital part of our dynamic Data Assets, Analytics, and AI Platform at Bayer Consumer Health. You will work closely with various stakeholders to enhance the strategic value of our data assets and support data-driven decision-making.
What You'll Do
- Lead the squad responsible for developing and operating the core finance & controlling data asset, collaborating with data analysts, engineers, and architects.
- Develop strategies and roadmaps for collecting and utilizing analytical data in finance & controlling.
- Own the quality and completeness of finance & controlling data for analytics and AI use cases.
- Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure data assets meet requirements.
- Co-develop data strategy and governance frameworks, proactively identifying new datasets.
- Define transformation logic and enrich data to create valuable KPIs and features.
- Ensure data quality, availability, and completeness through quality checks and monitoring.
- Analyze complex datasets to extract actionable insights for analytics and AI solutions.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Data Steward, preferably in the consumer-packaged goods or healthcare industry.
- Strong knowledge of data management principles, data quality frameworks, and metadata management.
- Familiarity with SAP CO, FI, & SD Modules; experience with SAP BW/SAP HANA is a plus.
- Proficient in data manipulation and analysis using Azure Databricks, SQL, and Python.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to present complex data clearly.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

- Experience with AI tools supporting data analysis and stewardship.
