Senior Cyber DCO Specialist - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Cyber DCO Specialist to join our team remotely. In this role, you will ensure the security and safety of cyber assets while protecting systems from unauthorized access and destruction. This position requires a strong background in cyber defense, operations, and risk management.

What You'll Do

• Perform all necessary procedures to safeguard internal information systems and networks.
• Analyze and define security requirements, designing and implementing solutions to meet cyber security needs.
• Conduct risk assessments and support theater-level Air Force defensive cyber posture.
• Coordinate with Cyber Protection Teams (CPTs) for assessments on key terrain.
• Facilitate cyber awareness and defensive training for personnel.
• Monitor and analyze Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) to identify and remediate security issues.
• Evaluate firewall change requests and assess organizational risk.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of related experience in cyber security.
• At least 6 years of specialized experience in defining computer security requirements.
• Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
• DoD 8570.01 IAT-II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE) required; advanced certifications preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field.
