About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Component Engineer to join our team remotely, providing essential engineering skills for the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP). In this role, you will implement component engineering programs and engage in complex troubleshooting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and enhancing operational performance.

What You'll Do

  • Execute component engineering activities to improve reliability and performance while reducing costs.
  • Provide technical expertise to investigate and resolve off-normal equipment conditions, ensuring safe operations.
  • Monitor component performance using predictive maintenance technologies to enhance reliability.
  • Participate in work week meetings to prioritize component maintenance requirements.
  • Support complex troubleshooting activities and long-term asset management strategies.
  • Analyze components to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
  • Maintain component health plans and implement equipment reliability initiatives.
  • Update the equipment master database to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related Science.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including 1 year in Nuclear Power Plant engineering.
  • Experience with APR-1400 or OPR-1000 maintenance and engineering is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and reporting.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation and controls engineering.
  • Familiarity with nuclear safety standards and environmental protection regulations.
